The lake district in Beijing ( Beihai Park )
In the 15th century, the large lake in the middle of Beijing was divided two parts. Today the area around the northern lake ‘Beihai Park’ is one of the most popular and beautiful places in the inner city.
……..For imperial ice celebrations the ice was smoothed with glowing irons,
….in summer time the lake is used for boating,….and in the winter for skating,
……I love Beijing !!!!!

I desaturated,…and then adjusted the tones with the curves.

You never cease to amaze. I love how you manipulated the shading in the black and white. A dark sky with a light terain. Very well done.

wow great work, i love the colour you choose, and the tonal range is great, except the beach seems a bit too strong, although i see what you were goin' for it really takes away from the awesome sky

Interesting colours - but a high contrast b/w version would be better. I'm not a big fan of artificial colours...

You should give it a try! :D But anyways great picture though...

thsi is wonderfully surreal, from the sky looking huge, like its going to suck up the world, to the boats looking liek their sailing on land. I love verything about it, but especcially the colors you chose.
