Huang Shan Mountains by foureyes Huang Shan Mountains by foureyes
........Nothing could have prepared me for the beauty of the Huangshan mountains in China..........:floating:
They dominate the area south of the Yangzi river and for centuries they have been celebrated by poets ans painters

I'm at the end of my first two weeks in China,......
Two more weeks before going back to Texas :)
tomorrow back to Beijing,...then to the Great Wall, Shanghai and Guilin,.....I love China, the people are wonderful :+fav:

Huang Shan Mountains by `foureyes Comment by =Doedit "If you check out his gallery you'll see an beautiful collection of photography, all in wonderful quality and pictures that look like they come from a (day)dream. Huang Shan Mountains is my favourite, and even though it has had quite some favourites and comments, I think it deserves a DD, because it's a truly stunning and beautiful picture." I went there a few years ago during the winter... It was literally and figuratively breathtaking... It was so cold that my lungs hurt from the insides... And the view... No words could describe... The trees were covered in crystalline frost... And the clouds on the mountainside made it look as if you were in a kind of heaven...

Anyway... Glad you've visited this magical place... ;)

if you want that view, come to Alaska one winter, i suggest somewhere between late December and February. the air is so cold that you breathe in and feel the hair in your nose freeze, and when there isnt a cloud in the sky, heaven doesnt even compare.
