The first place I ever stayed when i was in Las Vegas... ahh, the Luxor.

My mom was annoyed because we were near the top and our wall sloped so much

I've never seen the Luxor in such a favorable light. Looks exotic and mysterious in this photograph, not tacky or washed out like it sometimes feels in reality. Quite lovely...

Haha :giggle:, hear this: I typed in "Luxor" in the search engine to search for luxor photographs (I'm going there in 3 months), and I thought "heeeeeeeey did `foureyes went there" - haha what a pity you didn't, otherwise there would have been some beautiful photographs to study :(.

love the saturated colours and blue sky
there's almost a serenity in that high reaching palm and it's shadow against the structure next to it

I just spent forever trying to figure out how that palm made a shadow at that angle...and then I finally figured out that the shadow is that of an un-photographed tree. :slow: Great shot! I looooove the contrast!!

I like the composition of this shot. Taking the picture from behind the sphinx to capture the shadows falling on it adds another dimension to the photo most propably do not realise. The shadows falling on the sphinx fall on what takes on the appearance of golden sand dunes in the desert....a lone shadow of a palm tree falls on the desert dunes.

Quite nice, reminds me of those post cards that you can get in Tunisia or Morocco, etc. with the several camels and there reflections back on the dunes..

To me there is a little too much contrast, but I guess that you needed it for this effect, so nice.

Sorry for late comment, catching up...
