This photo was taken at a lookout onto the 'Pacific Ocean' in the Highlands of Central America,....located 3200 ft. above the sea level.
I used fuji film 800 ASA,...which gave me a 'grainy background',.... 'Buildingclimber'[link] recently shared with me a program which has a feature that eliminates grain,...I created several layers and eliminated the grain in the Sky, clouds and the water, ...but also gave the background a 'soft-focus' effect that I like alot.
A 300 mm lens was used, along with D-FL/polarizing filters to warm up the colors and eliminate the haze.
So,...did I manip ??....yes !

Exceptional work, though for me the things that really makes this piece is the silhouettes of the people against the sunset, it also works well in giving an idea of the scale of the piece too.
