I have often been stubborn, squandering opportunities in favour of distractions, not picking up on the clues and warnings life has handed me.
Spiritual and soul growth has often come when I have run out of my own resources and been forced into a corner with a wake-up call from the cosmos.
Often those change points are unwelcome but are curiously answers to my own prayers in disguise.
Each major wind shift has in fact helped adjust my course and my attitude, requiring me to throw some excess cargo overboard.

I want to wish everybody in DA the Best in 2006,.......this is a great place to be ....much appreciation for your support

Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty a beauty cold and austere, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature...sublimely pure, and capable of a stern perfection. B. Russell
wonderful capture Bernie! I love the shapes of the ripples in the ?mud. Looks like water bubbling up to the surface...or is it water?
that "path" of reflected light leading up to the figure is perfect
All the best for 2006! (I'm going to try and take a pic for the Doppelganger comp in your style....)

Beautiful work. It reminds me of the mudflats in Alaska.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
