In Xanadu did Kubla Khan A stately pleasure-dome decree: Where Alph, the sacred river, ran Through caverns measureless to man Down to a sunless sea. So twice five miles of fertile ground With walls and towers were girdled round: And there were gardens bright with sinuous rills, Where blossomed many an incense-bearing tree; And here were forests ancient as the hills, Enfolding sunny spots of greenery.
Gorgeous yellows and browns. I think that the time of day really had a lot to do with the beauty of this shot, and I find that you're wonderful with color, especially with outdoor lighting. = ) Keeping the sun in the upper-right (when you probably could've just stepped back or edited this to exclude it) between the wooden beams is a nice touch, too. Im glad you kept it.
This is stunning! I love the contrast between the dark, rigid lines of the deck and the warm, soft lines in the background. The subtle yellow and orange make this very inviting, and the touch of green provides a nice balance in color. Definite fav!
Breathtakingly beautiful. Makes me want to draw it. o_o Would it be alright if I used this as refference for a drawing some time? I'd give you credit, of course. Just wondering. If not, that's alright, too. :] Thank you so much for sharing all these wonderful pictures with us... they always bring a smile to my face.
