If one single moment could last forever,
there's one I wish I could have kept.
……...it was the moment I heard the sudden cry of pain coming from a victim of random street violence,….in a country far away,

:tears:....in my heart,...I can still hear the sound !

…… this world is harsh, cruel and …..nasty enough without writing off entire classes of individuals on the basis of their colour or national origin.
There are enough people in the world who can be judged on the basis of their actions that we don't need to judge others merely on the basis of their colour …….or nationality.

I don't like the manipulation. It looks like there is a...a filter or something over it and no I don't mean the bluriness of her movement, the movement is great, but on her hand + the light..I hope you know what I mean..
But god this is a gripping and miving shot. It is a capture of terrible pain and I personally would feel embaressed or forget to take a photo.
the wound looks..terrifying.

thankyou for your words Lia,.....no manip,...just a bit of de-saturation to 'soften' the crudity of the image,....is hard to take in full color :tears:
