I've really enjoyed all of these pictures from China lately. This one in particular, the only thing that comes to mind is "when a transversal cuts two parallel lines, the alternate interior/exterior angles are congruent." But I'm a geeky math major...
The large amount of blue really brings out the cold that you're about to enter yourself. Nice shot.

Cool angle and perspective: it's almost like the stairs are leaning a bit. The glare captured at the top of the stairs and the blue (or is it green?) hue really convey the feeling of cold.
