I've had the concept-idea for this photo for a while, and after several unsuccessful attempts to light the interior of this shell in varios ways,....I finally came up with the right one:
(....there's a 'glow-in-the-dark-stick' inside)
a flashlight was used to high-lite the top of the shell,
the most challenging part was holding the camera steady 3 inches above the water under very dim light conditions !!....hand held 2 sec. expossure :tears:

Any suggestions are always welcome.

Another awesome photo from the master:worship: your eye for detail never ceases to amaze me. This photo is definitely no exception. Wonderful colours, and great perspective as well as the stark contrast between the shell and the atmosphere. Truly fantastic!

Too bad you don't live here in Florida, the river water, which runs from the near by ocean, will do that for you. At night, when you splash in it, it glows. There's these weird small amiba type creatures or something that do it. It's really awesome.
